Large amounts of unlicensed medications have actually been taken by Department of during a search of a house in Glengormley.
A male was spoken with by department officers about illegally importing and subsequently supplying unlicensed impotence medicines through the web.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medicine offenses.
He will now be the subject of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was carried out by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, said: “It is essential that we get the message across that unlicensed medications can be unsafe.
“These types of items being sold, typically online, have undergone no quality assurance and there can be no warranty about their safety.
“You merely do not know what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More importantly, you do not know the impact drugs like this may have on your health.”
